We Are All Self Made And We All Pay A Price

Sometime ago I came across a great quote that brought a smile to face. It gave me one of those ah ha moments because it was so true and I had never thought of my life nor anyone else’s life the way the quote stated it.

Here it is: “We are all self-made. But only the successful will admit it.” - Unknown

Right now, weather you believe it or not, your current situation in your life, the life that you are leading right now, has been created by you with all that has happened in your life either good or bad by what you have thought about, talked about, and done about. Your actions!

The Universe has 3 creative forces and they are: Thoughts, Words, and Actions. These 3 forces will either take you were you want to go or further away from it. When you take control of these 3 forces in your life, your life will dramatically alter to the life you wish to have.

“What you think about, talk about, and do something about is what comes about.” – Larry Winget

However there will be a price to pay. Everything you wish to have comes with a price because there is nothing free in this world. There is always a price to pay.
Let’s say that one of the things you want is to have a great looking healthy body. The price for that is going to be for you to exercise regularly and to eat right. You will have to give up all those junk foods that you love eating.

How about being rich and successful? Well, you are really going to have to pay here. It means that you will have to work longer hours, having to go the extra mile. It means you will have less time to set in front of the television, surfing the internet or hanging out with your buddies, playing xbox or whatever you like doing so much.

How about doing nothing at all? Here you will find yourself paying the most. The price for doing nothing is being poor or worst living in poverty. You will be bored, miserable, most likely have strained relationships again most likely dealing with money. You will find yourself getting sick quite often from the stress of just having to get by everyday. Yes, everything has a price.

So, which price do you wish to pay?

Persistence

When setting and achieving your goals persistence is one of the most crucial elements in attaining your goals.

The basis behind persistence is will power and desire. When these two elements are combined in a proper manner you will be able to achieve all your goals.

With the power of persistence you will be able to overcome all obstacles and setbacks that will come along as you are on your path to achieving your goals.

The strength of your persistence is the difference in attaining your goal or giving up when the first setback arrives.

Your persistence is determined by your desire. Desire is the starting point for all that you wish to achieve. You must keep this in mind, if you do not have a strong desire, you will not have the persistence necessary to attain your goal.

Persistence is a strong state of mind built around causes that you can train yourself to have.

There are 8 Causes:

1) Definite Purpose: Knowing exactly what you want is probably the most important element to have when developing persistence.

2) Strong Desire: Must possess in order to attain your goals. When you desire something strong enough this element should be very easy to acquire.

3) Self-Reliant: When you believe in your own ability to follow your plan that you have laid out to achieve your goal. The more belief you have the stronger your power of persistence will be. You must believe you are already enough.

4) Definite Plan: Your plans must be thoroughly organized. The more organized you are, the easier it is to stick to your plans. By sticking to your plans with consistent action will build strong persistence.

5) Accurate Knowledge: When you know that the plans to attain your goals are sound based upon pervious experience, observation or follow step by step instructions from another that has achieved what you desire builds strong persistence. When you guess, your weaken the power of persistence.

6) Cooperation From Others: Having the support and understanding from others builds persistence through the power of faith that others have in you.

7) Will Power: When you focus your thoughts in attaining your goals, your desire will become stronger and when your desire becomes stronger so will your persistence. Focusing each day will soon become a habit and habit is what you wish to attain for a stronger will power that will lead to strong persistence.

8) Habit: The direct result of persistence. With your daily actions your mind will absorb the experiences and your persistence will grow stronger each day through the habits you have created.

Remember these 4 steps that will lead you to the habit of Persistence.

1) Definite purpose backed by a strong burning desire to achieve your goals.

2) A definite plan that has action taken daily to its fulfillment.

3) A closed mind. Not to everyday life but to all the negativity that will come from those dream stealers that come disguised as friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors.

4) Mentors and/or associates to work with who also wish to attain their own goals that will provide encouragement and insight to help you follow through with your plans to achieve your goals.

One last thing. Riches, wealth and abundance do not respond to wishes. They only respond to definite plans that are backed by a truly strong desire that is followed through with actions that are taken on a daily basis through Persistence.
